A communications and enterprise solutions advocate, Mr.
Ejiofor Agada has enjoined business owners and young entrepreneurs to take
advantage of opportunities that is on the abundant on the e-commerce platform,
to create a huge market base for any business they can think of Mr. Agada, who is the chief executive
officer of PMM Integrated (the IT solutions advocacy firm of
premier business and market communications firm, Private Media Mart Limited),
made these views known at the recently concluded Actors Guild of Nigeria, Lagos
chapter’s capacity building workshop in Lagos.
In his presentation delivered at the event, he noted that
the trending thing in business at the moment is E-commerce and any intelligent
business that wants to stay alive in this era must be actively alive on the
internet. He stated that with e-commerce, anything can be sold online. And
enjoined the participants to explore this option.
According to Agada, “The advent of e-commerce has changed
the face of buying and selling because I could be in my room and with my phone
I can make purchases of anything I need, which means, I can only do businesses
with those that are on the e- commerce platform and not just a company that has
a website. This is where businesses are headed at the moment.”
He made reference to Tilda
Kart 1.0, an online shop
management tool that is designed to help businesses sell on the internet.
The Tilda Kart he said is designed to make it possible and yet cheaper
for prospective businesses to become like the big online shops, but with less
cost more reliable features like the ability of the solution to generate
invoices, receipts and quotation. Another unique feature of the tool is its
high search engine performance. And the fact that to implement this solution
costs less than 80% of most e-commerce platforms.
Justifying the choice of Mr. Agada as a resource person, the
Chairman of AGN Lagos chapter Don Pedro Aganbi, said that it is imperative that
young and upcoming actors and actresses should look beyond the glitz and
glamour of the entertainment industry and explore other avenues to create
wealth, “so that the dance continues even when the music stops”, he concluded.
